Class A CDL Class A commercial driver's license allows the holder to drive a combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001, provided the towed vehicle weighs more than 10,000 pounds. School Bus Endorsement Drivers can run a school bus if they have the S endorsement. A P endorsement must be obtained before an S endorsement may be obtained.
